A decent chunk of cash, really, to license the engine, market, etc. :)īut as you can imagine, companies like GOD were folding at the time and nobody was willing to put forth the cash, basically, to bring it to fruition. I was especially fond of the ice cannon that would create a huge spiked crystal of ice, trapping enemies inside for a brief time. And of course Alex made a pile of fun songs that I still listen to now and again. Multiple weapons were selectable, a few enemies in with AI, a few full levels, some of the more difficult movements like ledge grab, etc. People at Epic seemed to like the game, especially because it managed to make the engine look cartoony, which they were surprised at seeing. I figure it took nearly a year to get a playable demo running, but as other people have already mentioned we can't release it because naturally it uses the Unreal engine. Yeah, I was the main coder on the Jazz 3D project. I was doing a search on Jazz 3D to put up references to do tutoring work on the side. i am a member of a warez community but i never mention it here, thats how i know warez would never fit into this topic even if i wanted to talk about it. that clearly shows you weren't thinking right when you posted that. Įxcuse me? even if quatroking wanted to, there wouldn't be any way warez could fit logically into this thread so why mention it? ok you were trying to be careful but you were overzealous because you assumed warez would possibly be mentioned later on in the topic even though THERES NO ROOM. Quatroking has already made a negative name for himself(talking about warez), so i thought i'd post a warning, WIZARD! Nothing was uttered about warez and theres no space (only a demo of jj3d was released and the jj2online website has no warez on it) so where did you pull that remark from, wizard?
